Planning: Props

Planning: Props

Any prop featured in the bedrooms were placed there before hand and art key to the film. The main props featured in the film is the two school bags and the two phones belonging to Cara and Daniel. Any props outside of the film will be a Camera, x2 tripods for the camera (different heights).

The representation of the props within the film portray that both of the main characters, Cara and Daniel, are the 'normal' teenagers seen in society today (set in the 21st century). The use of school bags helps the audience to view the older characters as more childish. If there were no school bags then the main characters could be viewed as adults and not by students going to school, which is how we want them to be perceived.
The use of a phone allows the communication between people and showing them with phones shows to the audience that they ant in the lower years of school, suggesting their ages and level of school work if they are allowed to have the responsibility of having a phone and bringing it into school.
